Kuya Kim shares birthday wish on 'TiktoClock': 'I'd like for the memory of Emman to continue'

Kuya Kim celebrated his 59th birthday on "TiktoClock" on Thursday, where his co-hosts sang him a birthday song and gave him a cake during the show.

Faith Da Silva, Herlene Budol, Allen Ansay, Jayson Gainza, and the other hosts joined in on the celebration and prodded Kuya Kim to make a wish.

The Kapuso host shared that he has many wishes, among which is for blessings to continue to pour in for "TiktoClock."

"Pang-apat na taon na natin and may we go on strong," he said.

According to Kuya Kim, this is the toughest birthday of his life since it is the first without his late daughter, Emman.

"My personal wish for myself naman — this is the toughest birthday in my life because it's the first birthday na wala 'yung anak ko," he said. "Wala si Emman, but I'd like for the memory of Emman to continue with kindness, good vibes, may people celebrate her life, and may my birthday be the start of this."

During the show, video messages from Dingdong Dantes, Geneva Cruz, Jerald Napoles, and more were also shown to Kuya Kim.

"Kuya Kim, brother, kumpadre, happy, happy birthday to you. I just wanna honor you. Thank you for everything, kaming mga kaibigan mo, blessed kami to have you as our friend, as our mentor, and as our kuya, kaya we always wish for your continued good health," said Dingdong.

"Sa kaarawan mo, we wish nothing but happiness and pure joy para sa 'yo. May God bless you and your family more. Maligayang, maligayang kaarawan, Kuya Kim. Mabuhay ka," he added.

Kuya Kim continues to honor the memory of his late daughter, Emman. Previously, he shared a touching throwback video of Emman and her older brother, Jose. In the clip, Emman can be seen twirling around while Jose plays music in the background.

Emman's passing was announced by her family in October 2025. She was 19 years old.

In what would be her last broadcast message on Instagram, posted on September 1, she opened up about the pressures of social media and taking a break from TikTok.

In Kuya Kim's interview with Jessica Soho, aired on "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," he said he remains grateful for the "19 beautiful years" of Emman.

He also reminded parents about the seriousness of mental health during his interview with Vicky Morales on "24 Oras."
