Shayne Sava, Shanelle Agustin, Dave Bornea to star in 'Magpakailanman' episode 'My Special Family'

Shayne Sava, Shanelle Agustin, and Dave Bornea are set to star in an upcoming "Magpakailanman" episode titled "My Special Family." 

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Friday, the Sparkle stars will bring to life the story of a family with children with special needs and the unique challenges they face.

"Very inspiring po siya kasi papakita po dito na kahit na may mga special needs sila kaya nila and kaya nilang gawin 'yung mga ginagawa ng mga normal na tao," Shayne said. 

Shanelle, for her part, shared that she found her role challenging. 

"Challenging siya for me kasi firs time ko pong magkaroon ng role na parang kailangan ko maging matured, maging strong, lalo na sa mga kapatid ko kasi nga may mga special needs sila," she said. 

The "My Special Family" episode is directed by award-winning Kapuso director Zig Dulay. It also stars Gardo Verzosa, Isay Alvarez, and Therese Malvar.

"Magpakailanman" airs Saturdays at 8:15 p.m. on GMA Network.
