'Secrets of Hotel 88' teaser reaches over 10M views; stars promise rollercoaster of emotions
The teaser for the much-anticipated series “Secrets of Hotel 88” has already reached over 10 million views and counting following its release on Thursday!
The series stars "PBB Celebrity Collab 1.0" housemates Brent Manalo, Ralph de Leon, Will Ashley, Mika Salamanca, Dustin Yu, Xyriel Manabat, Kira Balinger, River Joseph, Josh Ford, Bianca De Vera, AZ Martinez, Klarisse De Guzman, and Esnyr,
In Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Ralph described the story as a rollercoaster of emotions.
“Rollercoaster po kasi talaga ‘yung ‘Hotel 88.’ It’s not one-sided. It’s not all drama, but it’s also not all fun, at the same time. So ‘yung mga iyakan na mga gano’n, mga galit, away, it happens,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kira talked about how the production keeps actors on their toes with unscripted moments.
“I think it depends po sa eksena kasi ako I’ve trained myself na rin po to get used to on-the-spot improvisations and everything. So not having the script is also pretty exciting for me,” she said.
Mika Salamanca also shared that even the cast members are kept in the dark, with scripts being handed out in installments.
“Kahit kami talaga, kailangan naming hintayin talaga ‘yung kwento kasi po dami po talagang secrets,” she said.
The teaser of "Secrets of Hotel 88" opens with a scene of Brent, Ralph, and Will biking in the woods located in Hotel 88. They then encounter the family of Mika, River, Josh, and Bianca, and end up in a fight with them.
Soon after, chaos erupts with the cast running deep into the woods. Brent almost falls into a ravine, prompting Will and Ralph to save him.
The teaser ends with a bloody body of a person covered in black cloth being dragged away, and Ralph saying, “Ang gusto namin, malaman ang totoo.”
The series also stars Ina Raymundo, Dominic Ochoa, and Gardo Verzosa.
Production of "The Secrets of Hotel 88" began in October.
It is a family-mystery drama teleserye that explores themes of love and friendship. It is set to air in the first quarter of 2026.
