Khalil Ramos turns 30 at an arcade: 'A childhood dream come true'

Khalil Ramos celebrates 30th birthday

Khalil Ramos may have turned 30, but he is—and forever will be—a kid at heart.

The Kapuso actor took to Instagram to share how he ushered in a new decade in his life, describing it as “a childhood dream come true.”

In the photos, Khalil could be seen surrounded by friends and loved ones as they enjoyed various competitive games at Timezone in Makati City.

“I’m not really big on birthdays, but turning 30 hit me in a way I didn’t expect,” he said.

“It made me realize I still want to celebrate life the same way I did growing up with my friends, loud laughter, and most especially some competition,” he added.

Khalil shared that it had been his childhood dream to rent out a Timezone branch, “and it freaking happened.”

“45 of my closest friends going against each other in a tournament that had all our favorite games,” he said. “The shouting, the chaos, the clutch moments, the trash talk… it was the most fun we’ve had in a long time!”

He added that his birthday celebration was an “instant core memory” for him, and for that, he thanked the arcade for the opportunity.

Khalil ended his post by thanking his friends for welcoming him “to the trentahin club.”

Earlier, Gabbi Garcia shared an appreciation post for Khalil on his birthday, calling him the “love of my life.”

Meanwhile, the Kapuso couple starred in Ben&Ben’s “Duyan” music video, playing a married couple.

In real life, Gabbi said that she and Khalil are in no hurry to tie the knot.

“We’re super secured naman sa isa't-isa na hindi namin kailangan magmadali, mag-worry. OK naman kami," she said.

Gabbi and Khalil have been together for eight years. They are set to celebrate their ninth anniversary in February. —Hermes Joy Tunac/KG, GMA Integrated News
