Arabelle Dela Cruz advances to grand finals of ‘Veiled Cup Korea’

Arabelle Dela Cruz is advancing to the grand finals of the international singing competition, “Veiled Cup Korea.”

The Filipina singer of the competition is one of the five grand finalists.

In Athena Imperial’s report on “24 Oras" on Monday, Arabelle said she did not expect to be a grand finalist because her fellow competitors were so talented.

“Nakakatuwa kasi first international competition tas umabot pa ‘ko ng finals, so very, very fortunate. Very lucky ako,” she said.

Arabelle’s most preferred song was also approved for her to sing in the grand finals.

“Pinagdasal ko talaga na ‘yun ‘yung kantahin ko kasi hindi lang siya ‘yung basta power na kanta eh. Parang nakaka-relate ako dun sa song na ‘yun na feeling ko fit siya para ilaban ko dun sa competition.”

According to Arabelle, being part of “Veiled Cup Korea” is worth it even though she was unable to spend the holidays with her family.

Meanwhile, fellow Filipino singers Garrett Bolden and Thea Astley are thankful for the opportunity to be part of “Veiled Cup Korea.”

“The ‘Veiled Cup’ journey may have ended, but the story it gave me will stay forever,” Garrett said on Instagram.

Arabelle was the first runner-up in "The Clash" 2025.
