Kris Aquino eyes launching of video podcast: 'I miss doing interviews'
Kris Aquino said she is planning to launch a video podcast amid her health condition.
On Instagram, the Queen of All Media shared a carousel of photos and videos from January 24 and 25, including photos of her son Bimby attending a church procession with fashion designer Michael Leyva, and intimate glimpses of her recent medical procedure and ongoing recovery.
"This 'carousel' of photos and videos happened January 24 6:30-10 p.m.; January 25 from 4p.m. to 6:45 p.m.. I said yes to have my PortaCath re-done,” Kris wrote, as she expressed her gratitude to her doctors who continue to look after her and manage her recovery.
The actress and TV personality also reflected on her mother’s privacy during her past medical experience, pointing out at January 25 is the birth anniversary of her mom, former President Cory Aquino.
"My mom never publicly shared with you all the excruciating operations and procedures she endured, and the difficult choices she made. She protected her privacy,” Kris said.Like her mom, Kris said that while she is choosing to share photos and videos, she is not disclosing her detailed medical info.
“I’m now choosing to post pictures/videos but not give detailed medical info. Kapag gumaling ako, that’s when I should share what I wrote in my journals, the many witnessed holographic instructions should anything happen, and my many playlists.”
Kris also expressed her appreciation to friends and public figures who visited her, including Senator Robin Padilla and celebrities Erich Gonzales and RB Chanco, as well as for the outpouring of prayers and concern she continues to receive.
“Thank you for your prayers and concern. Please change #fighting to #brave. Thank God for all of you. You don’t need to know how much I suffer, you need to see that I'll continue praying and believing that I will reach remission,” she wrote.
Ending her post, Kris teased her fans about a video podcast she is planning to launch.
“With the correct safety protocols, pwede akong mag taped as a live video podcast,” Kris said.
“I miss doing interviews! Will you watch & subscribe? Like this post if you want my podcast to start soon with a partial home tour? My birthday gift to you,” she said.
Kris recently had a minor PICC line procedure, where a thin tube was placed in her arm vein and guided to a large vein near the heart for long-term IV treatment.
As of April 2025, Kris was battling nine autoimmune diseases.
