Was there ever a rivalry between SexBomb Girls and EB Babes? Lian Paz answers
Was there ever a rivalry between the SexBomb Girls and EB Babes?
According to EB Babe Lian Paz, there was none.
Appearing on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on Wednesday, Lian said "Actually wala talaga Tito Boy."
“Hindi namin alam na may rivalry pala — kasi ayun yung lumalabas talaga dahil kami ang pumalit sa kanila,” she added.
Lian explained, they didn’t know that they would be replacing SexBomb in a noontime TV variety show.
“That time, we didn’t know na kami ang papalit sa SexBomb,” she clarified.
Lian also debunked the rumors that they had physical altercation with SexBomb, saying “siguro feeling namin napisikal kami kasi ang gagaling nila.”
EB Babes were a female dance group that performed regularly in a noontime TV variety show. They debuted in August 2006.
The group consisted of Lian, Ann, Belle, Madel, Mae, Mergene, Saida, Joyce, Angel, and others.
Meanwhile, SexBomb rose to fame through its daily appearances in the same noontime variety show. Later, the Sexbomb Girls starred in the afternoon soap, "Daisy Siete," and became top recording artists.
The Sexbomb Girls had a reunion concert at the Araneta Coliseum on December 4 and the SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 9.
They are set to hold their third, fourth, and fifth reunion concerts in February. — Jade Veronique Yap/LA, GMA Integrated News
