Kylie Padilla returning as Amihan in ‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre’

Kylie Padilla is set to return as Amihan in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre!”

According to Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras," Wednesday, returning to the Kapuso series was a wish granted for Kylie.

“Parang nagagawan na ng paraan ang mga patay eh, so I’m hoping maybe they can give Amihan a chance kasi isa siya sa mga naunang namatay,” she said.

As she bonds with her fellow Sang’gres—Danaya, Pirena, and Alena—it feels like 2016 all over again for Kylie.

“Alam mo pag magkasama kaming apat para kami talagang bumabalik sa  — muscle memory na siya. Ang saya-saya lang namin. Between takes tumatawa lang kami,” Kylie said.

“Akala mo naglalaro pero siyempre seryoso kami pag-take pero ang saya lang na magkasama kami on an ‘Encantadia’ set,” she added.

With Amihan’s return, viewers can look forward to seeing her help the new generation of Sang’gres in their mission to defeat Gargan (Tom Rodriguez).

In the same “24 Oras” interview, the Kapuso star also looked back on her birthday trip to Thailand with her sons Alas and Axl.

“We went to Thailand a few days prior. Parang 'yun lang talaga sinadya ko na 'yun y'ung celebration namin as a family,” Kylie shared.

According to Kylie, it was their first time to travel overseas with their helpers.

“Dinala ko 'yung mga bata. First time namin na mag-abroad na kami lang and yayas. I’m super proud of my self kasi nag-enjoy naman talaga yung mga anak ko. That’s our real celebration,” she said.

Kylie also said she is happy because, despite everything she went through, both her children and the children of her ex-husband Aljur Abrenica and AJ Raval are now happy and bonding together.

“Makakalabas na 'yung mga anak niya kasama 'yung mga anak ko. Tapos naglaro 'yung mga anak namin. I’m happy that siguro God said, God intervened,” she shared.

"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8:05 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube.
