How does the food at PBB Bistro fare? Housemates’ family members critique the dishes

Before officially opening the PBB Bistro to the public later today, the five-course meals prepared by the housemates were first critiqued by some of their family members.

The three taste-testers were Christian Pablo (Sofia Pablo’s father), Chelsea Santos (Eliza Borromeo’s sister), and Myra San Juan (Carmelle Colado’s cousin).

Here are the collective comments on the dishes, along with their ratings:

Tuna crisp (8.3): The taste is good, and the tuna flavor is apparent. However, the lumpia wrapper seemed over-toasted, resulting in a salty aftertaste.

Cheese sticks (8): There is a salty aftertaste, but all the components — tuna, bread, and cheese — complement each other.

Flavored chicken wings (7.3): Some parts of the chicken are still raw, but the mashed potato is well prepared.

Adobo pasta (5.6): The presentation is good. It smells like adobo, but it doesn’t taste like it.

Chocolate churros (8.6): The churros complement the chocolate dipping sauce, but they have become soggy.

The PBB Bistro will be open to the public for two days only, from January 29 to 30, with three seatings per day: 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 8 p.m.

Earlier, “PBB: Celebrity Collab 2.0” announced the nominated housemates:  Joaquin Arce, Sofia Pablo, Eliza Borromeo, Carmelle Collado, Heath Jornales, and Caprice Cayetano.

"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" airs on GMA Network weeknights at 9:40 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 6:15 p.m.
