SexBomb's Sunshine and Mia to producers who said no to reunion concert: 'It's your loss'

Sunshine Garcia and Mia Pangyarihan of the SexBomb Girls opened up on their experiences producing their own concert on the latest episode of "Your Honor."

According to the episode, Sunshine, Mia, Rochelle Pangilinan, Jopay Paguia, and Aifha Medina invested their own money to make the concerts happen because producers would not give them a chance.

"May takot na baka wala nang manood, baka wala nang mag-produce sa atin. So better, tayo-tayo na lang, ambag," Mia said.

So in their group chat, they brought up the reunion and asked who wanted to produce.

"Naghahanap kami ng co-prod namin. May nakausap, tapos wala. Ghinosting kami, ang sakit," Mia said.

They still wanted to push through with the concert, following Rochelle's mantra, "'Sing galing pero 'di 'sing mahal."

They talked to the rest of the members that they would not have a salary for their promotional materials, use their own costumes, and save on food.

"Lahat 'yun for the love talaga," Sunshine said.

"Pero in fairness, 'yun 'yung grabe 'yung thank you namin sa SexBomb Girls kasi grabe din 'yung ginawa nilang effort tsaka 'yung sacrifice din. Kasi imagine mo 'yung iba galing pa ng sobrang lalayong lugar, and 'yung iba galing pa ng ibang bansa," Mia said.

Mia added that their goal was not to have sold-out shows, but to have a reunion in a big venue, which they've never done before.

Asked by Chariz Solomon if the producers ever contacted them for the upcoming concerts, Sunshine joked, "Hindi na, OK na kami. Pagkatapos n'yo kami ghinosting, OK na kami."

Sunshine said that only those who were with them from the start are part of the upcoming concerts.

In a message to the producers, Mia said, "It's your loss. Char!"

"Kami nga pala 'yung pinakawalan n'yo," Sunshine said.

"Kung hindi nangyari 'yun, hindi rin kami talaga mag-pu-push nang tatrabuhin talaga," Mia said.

The SexBomb Girls reunion concert had its first show at the Araneta Coliseum on December 4 and the second show at SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 9.

The third and fourth shows are happening on February 6 and 7. Tickets for the third show sold out in less than a week.

"Rawnd 5" is scheduled for February 8 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
