Kylie Padilla, Miguel Tanfelix, Jak Roberto, Kyline Alcantara, Buboy Villar to star in new series ‘Task Force, Firewall’

Kylie Padilla, Miguel Tanfelix, Jak Roberto, Kyline Alcantara, and Buboy Villar are set to star in the upcoming Kapuso action-drama series “Task Force, Firewall.”

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Monday, Kylie teased more about the exciting project.

“It’s very timely sa panahon natin since lahat nasa internet na and lahat tayo may cellphone, so everyone is vulnerable to this kind of crime,” she said.

Kylie is also happy to work with Jak again after their successful GMA Afternoon Prime series, “My Father’s Wife.”

“Like I usually say ‘pag kasama ko si Jak, 50 percent of the work done na kasi maganda ‘yung chemistry namin,” she said, adding that they will be playing completely different characters as in the previous series.

Jak likewise praised Kylie for her character, who will have a lot of action scenes.

“Wala akong na-i-imagine na ibang character na gaganap nito kundi siya lang. So I’m happy to work with her again and I’m excited, of course,” Jak said. “Ang maganda sa ‘min when it comes na magkakaroon kami ng project, nag-a-adjust na lang kami through character eh.”

Meanwhile, Miguel’s last action series was “Mga Batang Riles." For "Task Force, Firewall," he will be training for the action scenes anew, like how to properly handle a gun and a knife.

“Mag-t-training ako with the army,” he added.

Kyline, for her part, shared that “Task Force, Firewall” is a dream come true because she had always wanted to work on an action project.

“Hopefully, may mga hard stunts po na mangyayari because mag-t-training din po kami,” she said.

Buboy also expressed his excitement for the series, where he will play the role of a comedic tech expert.

"Isa lang po masasabi ko. Napakalaki po ng project na ito, napakaganda po ng vision at sobrang nakakakiliti na gusto ko nang magsimula po kaagad bukas na. Mag-taping na kaagad kami," he said.
