'Never Say Die' makes action-packed premiere on GMA Prime

"Never Say Die" has finally landed on TV screens!

The newest GMA Prime show premiered on Monday, February 2, and it was already very action-packed.

The pilot episode featured an awards ceremony at Bolabos National High School, livestreamed by vlogger Joey Delgado, played by Jillian Ward. A shootout then happened involving her police officer father Miguel, played by Raymart Santiago.

Meanwhile, David Licauco's Andrew Dizon, makes his broadcasts as a journalist. He is unafraid to call out police officers for their alleged corruption and involvement in the increasing crime rate in the Philippines.

Andrew covers the shootout at the school and fights those at the scene. It is revealed that the shootout was due to a drug transfer. Andrew asks if Miguel has any knowledge and involvement in it.

Joey and Andrew meet, and it is revealed that Joey is against Andrew's anti-police tirades. Andrew even called her his "basher."

"Never Say Die," which also stars Kim Ji Soo and Raheel Bhyria, airs at 8:55 p.m. on GMA Prime after "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre." —MGP, GMA Integrated News
