PBB Collab 2.0: 'The Ultimate 8' mechanics explained

"Pinoy Big Brother: Big Collab 2.0" has officially unveiled the mechanics leading to the season's most important milestone: "The Ultimate 8."

Big Brother announced that the Kapamilya Big 4 and Kapuso Big 4 who will make it to Big Night will collectively be known as "The Ultimate 8."

In Kuya's announcement, a major twist was also revealed, as one Kapuso and one Kapamilya housemate will automatically secure a spot in "The Ultimate 8" through a Big Jump Challenge.

To determine these slots, two Kapuso housemates will face off in the Kapuso Big Jump Challenge, and the same mechanics apply for Kapamilya housemates.

Big Brother also gave the remaining housemates the chance to hear honest opinions from the outside world about their stay inside the house.

Caprice Cayetano chose to opt out of listening to the comments, explaining that other people's opinions no longer mattered more than her own.

Meanwhile, Ashley Sarmiento, Lella Ford, Joaquin Arce, Miguel Vergara, and Carmelle Collado accepted Kuya's offer and listened to what viewers had to say about them, while the remaining housemates have yet to be called.

The episode concluded with Big Brother asking each housemate to name one Kapuso and one Kapamilya housemate they believe are most deserving of making the Big Jump and earning a place in "The Ultimate 8."

The latest evictees on "Pinoy Big Brother" were Sofia Pablo and Eliza Borromeo, leaving 10 housemates remaining.
