At the coronation night held on Tuesday, the beauty queen from Quezon City not only won the coveted crown, she also won Best in Swimsuit and the special awards Dr. Toledo Cosmetics Ambassador, Talent Challenge winner, and Beauty with a Purpose.
Before Asia Rose represents the Philippines on the Miss World stage, here are five facts to know about the newly crowned queen.
She is a mental health advocate
Asia Rose has been open about her mental health advocacy.
During the Q&A portion of Miss World Philippines 2026, she highlighted the importance of mental health awareness in relation to social media use.
She competed in Miss Teen USA
Asia Rose is no stranger to pageants. Before competing in Miss World Philippines 2026, she competed in Miss Teen USA 2023, where she won the Miss Congeniality award.
In April 2025, she was crowned Miss World Quezon City at 17.
She is a dancer
Asia Rose has been honing her dance skills since the age of three, thanks to her father, who taught her.
In her Beauty with a Purpose introduction video, she said that joining dance competitions exposed her to different kinds of people and stages.
“It became an outlet of creativity, expression, and emotion,” she said.
She is homeschooled
In the same introduction video, Asia said she had been homeschooled and that it was hard for her to make social connections. But through her dance pursuits and initiatives, she met people from all walks of life.
She loves pickleball
Aside from dancing, Asia is also into sports. In 2023, she discovered pickleball and used the sport to support her humanitarian work in partnership with local governments.
