Eliza Borromeo admits first PBB eviction hurt after reading public's reactions
Eliza Borromeo opened up about the emotional toll of her first eviction, admitting that reading what people were saying about her outside the house was deeply painful.
In an interview with GMA News Online, Eliza reflected on her rare PBB journey: getting evicted, returning through the wildcard, and then exiting the house again.
While she described the entire cycle as filled with “mixed emotions,” she shared that it also taught her to choose gratitude over regret.
And being evicted twice was super—mixed emotions po kasi siya for me,” the young star said.
Despite the emotional rollercoaster, Eliza said she found peace in knowing she fulfilled her purpose inside Kuya’s house, especially after being given a second chance.
“At the same time, I'm happy po.
When asked which eviction was harder to endure, Eliza did not hesitate to point to her first exit, citing the impact of seeing the public’s perception of her for the first time.
“Ang pinakamahirap po na eviction is ‘yung first eviction po. Kasi ‘yung first eviction ko po, it was super heavy po.
Eliza acknowledged that she felt she fell short during her initial stay, believing she failed to fully show who she really was inside the house.
By the time of her second eviction, however, Eliza said she felt more at peace, confident that she had given her best and rebuilt connections with her fellow housemates.
Eliza got evicted from “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” on Saturday alongside Sofia Pablo.
Her first eviction was in November with Marco Masa. She returned inside the house last month after winning the wildcard round.
