Sofia Pablo thanks Allen Ansay for staying during her lowest moments

Sofia Pablo has nothing but overflowing gratitude for Allen Ansay, sharing how his unwavering support became a source of strength for her, especially during her most difficult moments, including her time inside the “Pinoy Big Brother” house.

In an interview with GMA News Online, Sofia spoke candidly about her long-standing bond with Allen, whom she fondly called “Aki,” emphasizing how he never changed despite the challenges they faced.

“Sobrang grateful ako for Aki kasi antagal na naming magkakilala pero not even once nagbago siya. Like ‘yung supporta niya, yung binibigay niya yung care and love. Friendship, love. Sobra,” the Sparkle star said.

Sofia acknowledged that their situation during "PBB" was far from easy, particularly because of the lack of communication and the emotional strain that came with seeing things from the outside.

“Lalo nung PBB, alam ko na hindi ‘yun madali na hindi kayo magkakausap at all. Tapos may mga pwede siyang mapanood na parang mag-o-overthink siya,” she said.

Despite the noise and pressure surrounding her, Sofia said Allen remained by her side, especially when she felt most alone.

“Sobrang grateful ako kay Allen na even through the noise, lalo nung down times ko when I was at my lowest, never niya akong iniwan. Even when everyone turned their back on me, siya ‘yung dumating sa buhay ko,” she said.

Now that she feels she has fulfilled her purpose, Sofia said her appreciation for Allen has only grown deeper, particularly because his support came at a time when she felt misunderstood.

“Now na na-fulfill ko ‘yung purpose ko, mas na-appreciate ko talaga siya kasi marami nang nagmamahal sa akin bilang tao pero hindi ko malilimutan ‘yung binigay niyang pagmamahal sa akin kahit nung ‘yung mundo, hindi nila piniling makita ‘yung kung sino ako,” she said.

Sofia continued, “Lagi kong ipapagpasalamat ‘yun sa kanya na he gave me a chance na ipakita sa kanya na this is me, that is not me. Kasi onting tao lang talaga ‘yung nabigay niya sa akin nun, ng chance na ‘yun at isa siya dun.”

Sofia got evicted from “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” on Saturday alongside Eliza Borromeo. 

She spent 99 days inside the iconic house and expressed a sense of fulfillment.

"I can say that I've fulfilled my purpose: to show the world who I really am," she said.

Allen was among the first people to welcome her back into the outside world. 

"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" airs weeknights at 9:40 PM, Saturdays at 6:15 PM, and Sundays at 10:05 PM on GMA Network.
