'The Secrets of Hotel 88' teases romance, mystery, and family drama in official trailer

"The Secrets of Hotel 88" gave a taste of romance, mystery, and family drama in its official trailer released on Friday. 

The three-minute trailer formally introduces the characters of "PBB Celebrity Collab 1.0" housemates Brent Manalo, Ralph de Leon, Will Ashley, Mika Salamanca, Dustin Yu, Xyriel Manabat, Kira Balingar, River Joseph, Josh Ford, Bianca De Vera, AZ Martinez, Klarrise De Guzman, and Esnyr.

It kicks off with a scene of Esnyr and Klarisse welcoming guests in Hotel 88.

Soon after, chaos erupts in the hotel following the encounter of the Almazan family, composed of River Joseph, Mika Salamanca, Josh Ford, and Bianca de Vera, with the Fernandez family, composed of Ralph de Leon, Brent Manalo, and Will Ashley.

The cast runs deep into the woods with Brent almost falling into a ravine, prompting Will and Ralph to save him. The trailer adds a dash of mystery with a scene of a bloody corpse covered in black cloth.

Aside from danger and family drama, “The Secrets of Hotel 88” also offers romance, teasing the characters of Mika and Brent almost sharing a kiss.

The series also stars Ina Raymundo, Dominic Ochoa, and Gardo Verzosa.

Production of "The Secrets of Hotel 88" began in October.

It is a family-mystery drama teleserye that explores themes of love and friendship. It is set to air in the first quarter of 2026. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
