Glaiza De Castro addresses trending clip of husband David Rainey, Maris Racal
Glaiza De Castro has addressed the viral clip featuring her husband, David Rainey, and actress Maris Racal during the premiere night of "Unmarry" in December 2025.
Glaiza guested on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Friday with fellow "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" stars Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, and Gabbi Garcia, where she was asked by Tito Boy about the video.
Glaiza, David, and Maris were onstage at the time as they showed their support for the movie's cast members, which included Glaiza's friend Angelica Panganiban. In the clip, David could be seen looking at Maris as she spoke onstage, a scene that made the rounds online.
"I don't have any controversial relationships tapos nung binring up 'yung premiere night, ang first reaction ko nun, pinakita ko kay David, 'you're trending.' Sabi niya, 'what? bloody hell,'" said Glaiza.

According to the Sparkle star, her non-showbiz husband is not used to being in public. She added that David accompanied her onstage with other celebrities, who spoke in support of the film.
"Syempre ang tendency ni David, parang anong gagawin ko dito, what do I do? 'Di ba hindi naman din po siya kinakausap, kumbaga parang wala naman nagtanong sa kaniya. Ang nagsalita nun si Kean, ako, si Maris, so nung time na nagsasalita si Maris, of course tumitingin siya kay Maris, so 'yun 'yung explanation."
Glaiza shared that there were netizens who took it too far with their comments, with some alleging that David might cheat on her.
"Dumating sa time na binabasa ko lahat ng comment. 'Oh my god, 'yung asawa mo Glaiza bantayan mo kasi may tendency siyang mag-cheat. Tapos ano po 'yun Christmas season 'yun eh dahil [Metro Manila Film Festival], so sinabi ko talaga sa mga pamangkin ko, sa nanay ko, 'nay tingnan niyo meron trending si David, sagutin ko ba?' na parang ang gagaling niyo mag-imbento, ganun," she said.
The actress noted that she wanted to reply to some of the netizens, but ultimately decided against it.
"Gusto ko na talagang sumagot. I didn't, I didn't, especially po for David din, for David's sake and sa mga pamangkin ko na nagsasabi 'wag na tita, hayaan mo na 'yan,'" she shared.
Glaiza and David tied the knot in October 2021.
Glaiza currently stars in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" as Pirena.
It airs weeknights at 8:05 p.m. on GMA Prime.
