'The Secrets of Hotel 88' is a 'dream come true' for ex-PBB Collab housemates, Kira Balinger says

For Kira Balinger and her fellow “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0” housemates, starring in the upcoming murder-mystery series “The Secrets of Hotel 88” is a “dream come true.” 

In an exclusive interview with GMA News Online at the sidelines of the series media conference on Friday, the Kapamilya star opened up on working with her fellow housemates in the series.

“I’m just so happy to be working with my friends. Talagang hindi ko ramdam na work siya,” Kira said. 

“And it’s really a dream come true for all of us kasi since PBB we’ve been talking about this and now it’s really happening. So sobrang happy naming lahat,” she added.

In the same interview, Kira looked back on her fondest memory during their locked-in taping. 

“Honestly, the most memorable for me is our rest days, like how we bond during our free time,” Kira recalled. 

“Like there is this one rest day na nag-jetski kami nila AZ. So ‘yung ang parang pinakapagpag namin after heavy scenes after days of continuous work. Rest days are the best,” she added. 

Aside from Kira, The “Secrets of Hotel 88” also stars Brent Manalo, Ralph de Leon, Will Ashley, Mika Salamanca, Dustin Yu, Xyriel Manabat, River Joseph, Josh Ford, Bianca De Vera, AZ Martinez, Klarrise De Guzman, and Esnyr.

It will also feature veteran actors Ina Raymundo, Dominic Ochoa, and Gardo Verzosa.

Production of "The Secrets of Hotel 88" began in October. The official trailer was released yesterday.

"The Secrets of Hotel 88" is a family-mystery drama teleserye that explores themes of love and friendship. It is set to air in the first quarter of 2026. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
