Bianca Umali grateful to co-create Terra and Gargan's fight scene in 'Sang'gre'
Bianca Umali expressed her gratitude for being given the chance to help shape a key moment in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” particularly Terra and Gargan’s intense fight scene.
According to Sparkle GMA Artist Center’s Instagram post, Bianca is “filled with gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate and co-create” on the series.
“This momentous episode is made even more meaningful through the generosity of the creative team, production team, directors, and post-production team, as well as the support of GMA management and the station, who created a space for her creative voice to be part of shaping this pivotal moment for Terra,” Sparkle said.
In Athena Imperial’s report on 24 Oras on Monday, Bianca said she was hands-on throughout the process of bringing the scene to life.
"Talagang pinaghirapan naming lahat at naging hands-on ako sa eksenang 'to na kami ng action team ko ang nag-choreo ng buong fight namin. Grateful po ako sa production po ng 'Sang'gre' kasi they gave me the opportunity to actually be part of the process sa pagsusulat ng script, sa paggawa po ng action scene, sa pag-edit, sa pag-supervise po sa VFX," she said.
[We really worked hard on this and I was very hands-on with my action team in choreographing the whole fight scene. I'm grateful to the production team of 'Sang'gre' for giving me the opportunity to actually be part of the process — in writing the script, in creating the action scene, in editing and even in supervising the VFX.]
Following the episode, Bianca also reposted a fan’s message on her Instagram Stories praising her creativity, from the stunt work and script to the visual effects, and describing the scene as emotionally heavy and powerful.
“I poured my heart into this,” Bianca said.
Bianca stars in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” with Angel Guardian, Faith Da Silva, and Kelvin Miranda.
It airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8:05 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it on YouTube via the Kapuso Stream.
