Sunshine Garcia on successful SexBomb concerts: 'Pwede na ba namin sabihing we made history'

Sunshine Garcia is over the moon following the success of the SexBomb Girls reunion concerts.

In an Instagram post, the dancer and actress shared her reflections following the shows.

“From backup dancers to this, sinong mag aakala na makakabalik kami ulit?” Sunshine wrote. “Sabi nga nila bihira ang sumikat ng 2000 na nakakabalik ulit.”

The group had sold out all their reunion shows so far, from rAWnd 1 to 5. Sunshine said they did not expect fans to welcome them again.

“Three days straight walang bumitaw, walang nagpahinga, lahat tayo binuhos natin ang pagmamahal sa isa’t isa,” Sunshine said.

“Wala kami kung hindi dahil sa inyo YES IKAW na naghintay sa pagbabalik namin, napakagandang regalo nito para sa amin,” she added. “Core memory para sa ating lahat.”

Sunshine thanked the concert’s guests, staff, crew, artists, directors, and team.

She also thanked the SexBomb Girls for agreeing, and their families for letting them return for "unfinished business."

“Pwede na ba namin sabihing ‘we made history,’” Sunshine said. “Proud ako sa grupong ito, Proud Sexbomb!”

Early this week, the Sexbomb Girls announced rAWnd 6 of their reunion concert and that they will also be going on a world tour. Their first stop is the UAE.

The SexBomb Girls reunion concert had its first show at the Araneta Coliseum on December 4 and the second show at SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 9.

The third, fourth, and fifth shows were also held at the MOA Arena on February 6, 7, and 8.

The Sexbomb Girls rose to fame through their daily appearances on a noontime TV variety show. Later, the group starred in the afternoon soap, "Daisy Siete," and became top recording artists.

Some of their members include Rochelle Pangilinan, Jopay Paguia, Mia Pangyarihan, Aira Bermudez, Aifha Medina, Weng Ibarra, and more.

The group is known for the dance hits "The Spaghetti Song" and "Halukay Ube."
