Sharon Cuneta proudly shares senior citizen ID: 'Aging, my friends, is a privilege'

Sharon Cuneta has officially joined the ranks of senior citizens, and she is embracing it with pride!

On Instagram, the Megastar shared a photo of her senior citizen ID issued by the Office of the Senior Citizen Affairs and said, “Heto na siya!!!"

"AGING, MY FRIENDS, IS A PRIVILEGE!!! Thank You, Lord!” she added in the caption.

Her daughter, KC Concepcion, led the warm greetings in the comments section with a playful message. “Grabe! Level up na!!!” she said.

Carmi Martin shared an inside joke, saying “Join the club. Tara watch na tayo movies on Mondays" while trans beauty queen Mela Habijan remarked, “Ang ganda mo, Nay!"

"We stan this pixie Mommah!” she said.

Ogie Alcasid left a string of raised hands emojis, while Kakai Bautista reacted with heart-eyes emojis.

Other netizens left heart-warming comments, saying she didn't look like 60 or that Sharon was "aging fabulously," while a fan couldn't help but leave a pun: "Mahal kita maging senior ka man," she said referencing Sharon's movie from the '90s.

Under Philippine law, citizens aged 60 and above are entitled to benefits such as discounts on certain goods and services upon presentation of a senior citizen ID.

Sharon turned 60 in January.

She is married to Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
