Bianca Umali trains in traditional Filipino balisong for self-defense

Bianca Umali is mastering a new combative art.

On Instagram, Sparkle GMA Artist Center shared that the "Sang'gre" star is currently training in traditional Filipino balisong as part of her self-defense journey.

“Prime Gem Bianca Umali is leveling up her self-defense game. She is currently mastering the traditional Filipino Balisong under the Laraw Kali Pamuok (LKP) system, guided by founder Lakan Ronnie Royce Base,” Sparkle wrote in the caption.

Lakan Ronnie Royce Base also shared videos from their training session.

In his post, Bianca can be seen learning new techniques, including a move where she tosses the balisong into the air and catches it smoothly.

Earlier this week, Bianca bid goodbye to her “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” character, Terra, after she was killed by Gargan in an intense battle.
