'Huwag Kang Titingin’ releases chilling teaser featuring inverted horror scenes

“Huwag Kang Titingin” top-billed by Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay just released its teaser!

The teaser, released by GMA Pictures on Friday, opened with a haunting image of Jesus on the cross moving upside down, setting an eerie tone. This was followed by a series of chilling scenes, also played shown inverted, that heighten the suspense and sense of dread.

It likewise featured intense moments of the cast running and desperately fighting for their lives as terror closes in on them.

“Parating na ang sumpang magbabaliktad sa lahat. Kahit na ano’ng mangyari, huwag kang titingin,” the caption read.

Aside from Sofia and Allen, “Huwag Kang Titingin” also stars Marco Masa, Sean Lucas, Josh Ford, Charlie Fleming, Anthony Constantino, Shuvee Etrata, Michael Sager, and Kira Balinger. 

The film is directed by Frasco Mortiz and co-produced by GMA Pictures and Mentorque Productions Inc. It offers a fresh take on Filipino horror, blending a chilling Gen Z-inspired narrative with the eerie pull of local folklore and viral internet challenges.

It is set to premiere in cinemas this summer.
