Boy Abunda joins Kris Aquino’s 55th birthday celebration

Kris Aquino marked her 55th birthday with a celebration at home alongside her sons, Josh and Bimby, and her dear friends.

On Instagram, the Queen of All Media shared a reel of her birthday celebration held at her home, which was filled with balloon decorations, mostly in shades of pink. There was a sumptuous spread of dishes including lechon, and several cakes to mark the occasion.

Among the guests at the intimate gathering were her longtime celebrity friend Boy Abunda and her makeup artist, RB Chanco.

“New friends and friends who can count decades of togetherness,” Kris wrote.

She thanked cake supplier, Heavenly Desserts by Chef Jeng, and, in true Kris fashion, left a witty remark.

“The pistachio and the specially created for me almond silvanas are my favorites,” she said.

“I’m the type [that] if I’ve already fallen in love with one, ayoko na to experiment because why taste others when I’ve found perfection?” she added.

She also thanked her supporters for their “prayers and good wishes” and echoed her request that netizens leave their questions in the comments, saying she would do her best to answer them.

“Boring na ba ko that there’s nothing you want to ask?” she said.

Kris is currently battling nine autoimmune diseases. Despite this, she is looking forward to launching a video podcast.
