K Brosas responds to Alvin Aragon's criticism of her support for her queer child: 'Nairita ako'

After being name-dropped by controversial Alvin Aragon in his latest interview, K Brosas took to Facebook to air her response.

Alvin, the husband of SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona who has a trans child, Sofia, had criticized supportive parents of the LGBTQIA+ in an episode of The Cris Raf Uncovered posted on Thursday night. He questioned whether a good father would accept if their children were queer.

"'Yun ba ang mabuting tatay? O mabuting tatay 'yung nagagalit, 'Bakit ka bakla? Eh lalaki ka na ginawa ng Diyos!'" he said. "Sino ang mabuting tatay? Si Gloc-9 tuwang-tuwa, ginawan pa ng kanta 'yung anak niya. Si K Brosas, tuwang tuwa, si Ian Veneracion, tuwang tuwa."

In a Reel, K Brosas said she didn't want to speak about his recent viral remarks on homosexuality and religion, but then he mentioned her by name.

"Parang kinondema mo kami dahil tanggap namin ang mga anak namin dahil members ng LGBT. Anong pakielam mo? May ambag ka ba kahit nung pre-schoool? Nagbigay ka ba ng baon? Iba 'yung galit mo, kuya," K Brosas told Alvin.

She said that when her daughter, Crystal, came out as a lesbian in 2020 with her support, she wasn't applauded by everyone.

"Marami din naman na... mga tulad mo, harcore na Christian," she said. "Although marami naman akong kilala na mga Christian na may respeto naman. Ikaw kasi ang galit mo, iba eh."

When she heard Alvin's recent comments, which have gone viral and prompted debates online, K Brosas admitted, "Nairita ako, sa totoo lang. 'Yung galit niya... hindi lang sa LGBTQ, 'yung galit niya sa pananamit, 'yung mga songs."

"So ilan nalang kayo pupunta sa langit, pito?" she added. "Naniniwala ako sa Lord, accommodating. Ang titignan niya laman ng puso ko, makikita niya, 'Ay di perpekto to, pero at least ganito, tama.' Ganon ang feeling ko, hindi 'yung ilang beses sumayaw ng Spaghetti pababa."

K Brosas said that she respects all religion, and even those who don't believe in any religion.

However, she said that if they're basing the conversation on the Bible, "Nakalagay... 'love thy neighbor.' Walang nakalagay doon, 'Love thy neighbor pwera sa mga bading at tomboy.'"

She said that she has a personal relationship with God, and "walang dapat humusga."

"Kuya, dahan-dahan din," she told Alvin. "Pwede ka magsabi ng opinyon mo, pero para idrag mo' yung name namin na akala mo ang sama sama naming magulang."

"Kuya, sana kumalma ka. At wag mo husgahan ang pagpapalaki ko sa anak ko," she added. "Uulitin ko, at least hindi kriminal, hindi adik. Hindi perpekto ang relationship namin, pero masaabi ko may tama akong ginawa."

Alvin has been drawing online backlash following his comments on wife Izzy and her former girl group SexBomb Girls.

He also said about Izzy's trans child Sofia, "God will throw you to hell if you continue to do homosexuality. Mamuhay ka, and you don't want to believe in Jesus? I assure you that God will throw you to hell if you don't stop, repent, and believe in the gospel."

Sofia has responded to him, saying, "Bakit wala nang grace, wala nang compassion? Di mo kayang magbigay ng grace and compassion."

She also alleged that Alvin once choked her.
