Michael V. to make special appearance in Gary Valenciano's upcoming podcast 'Unshaken'

Gary Valenciano is set to launch a new inspirational podcast titled “Unshaken,” and among the confirmed guests for the show is Michael V.

At Friday's media conference, Gary shared his excitement about having the Kapuso Comedy Genius for an episode.

“If there's one thing that Michael V. and I have in common, is the fact that we love to play around with our voices. I am a very animated person, something that you haven't seen, something that you will hear in time because I do a lot of these things at home. I have the whole studio and I don't just record music, but I record all sorts of things in that studio. And in that talk with Michael V., we just had fun,” he said.

He hinted at a memorable moment toward the end of their discussion, saying it unfolded the way he had hoped.

“There was just that one moment before we said goodbye to everyone where we just had... ?I'm already—I don't want to spill the beans, but I'm going like this because it was exactly what I hoped happened and it happened,” he said.

Gary shared they also got to bond over golf using his home simulator, although those moments were separate from the recorded interview.

“It was good to talk to him because I realized also that Michael V. — he's kind of serious as a person pala. He's serious about being a comedian. It's kind of crazy, but I learned quite a bit from him. How he's so sensitive to getting the timing right, to feeling the vibe of his audience,” he said.

Per Gary, Bitoy openly shared insights about his process.

“Ang sarap makarinig that he's sharing, not his trade secrets, but he's sharing enough for future comedians who love what he does, he's sharing enough for them to get inspired to be the best that they can be in that field,” he said
