Barbie Forteza gets support from Dingdong Dantes, Alden Richards at 'Until She Remembers' premiere

Barbie Forteza received overwhelming support from Dingdong Dantes and Alden Richards at the premiere night of her new film, “Until She Remembers."

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras," Friday, Dingdong and Alden, as well as Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo, were among the stars and personalities who graced the film’s premiere night on Thursday.

“Personally, I’m very happy for Barbie. Grabe, napakaswerte niya at napasama siya sa mga pillars and legends of the industry at talagang ang galing. Pati 'yung performance niya dito napakagaling,” Dingdong said.

“I think it’s a story about how love is to each and every individual. Ang galing lang na minsan na kahit pa naparealize sa akin ng pelikula na ito ay there's love even in absence of someone important in your life,” Alden also said.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Brillante Mendoza, “Until Remembers” stars Barbie alongside Charo Santos-Concio and Boots Anson-Roa.

Other cast members include Angel Aquino, Albert Martinez, Eric Quizon, and Vince Rillon.

According to Barbie, the film is a “dream project” for her.

“Dream project ko po ito. Ang mapabilang sa pelikula ni direk Brillante, ang makasama ang mga very powerful women who I really look up to in the industry,” she shared.

In “Until She Remembers,” Barbie portrays Angel, a struggling 16-year-old high school student who is learning different forms of love, particularly through her relationship with her grandmother, played by Santos-Concio.

“Until She Remembers” is set to hit the Philippine cinemas on February 25.

The film comes at the heels of a very busy 2025 for Barbie, who starred in the Kapuso series “Beauty Empire,” and in the movies “P77” and “Kontrabida Academy.”

Despite her hectic schedule, however, the Kapuso star made sure to treat herself to solo dates this past Valentine's Day.

“Nag-movie date ako, nag-cafe date ako, nag-fancy dinner date ako, and come Sunday morning, tumakbo ako,” she shared.

“You should love yourself everyday. Treat yourself with kindness, full of love. You really don’t have to depend your happiness on anyone." —Jade Veronique Yap/CDC, GMA Integrated News
