'PBB Celebrity Collab 2.0': Caprice Cayetano reacts to Heath Jornales pairing, chooses Carmelle Collado for Joaquin Arce’s spot

Caprice Cayetano stood by her mantra of growth as she faced tough questions in the Ultimate Tapatan.

On Monday’s episode of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” Caprice came second for the challenge, where she was grilled by the ex-housemates about her decisions inside the house.

Below is the Q&A edited for length and clarity.

Q: Ano ang specific instance na naipakita mo ang iyong paninindigang mantra na paglago o growth?

During the nominations, binigay ko po talaga ‘yung honest na opinion ko. Hindi ko po talaga masyadong pinapakita ‘yung side ko na malungkot. Lagi ko pong sinasabi na always look at the bright side of life. Lagi rin po akong nagse-self-reflect sa kung ano pong kailangan kong i-improve pa sa sarili ko.

[During the nominations, I gave my honest opinion. I also didn't show the sad side of my personality. I always say I look at the bright side of life. I also always self-reflect on what I need to do and improve myself more.] 

Q: Have you ever felt a strong emotion dito sa loob pero you chose to keep it in?

Of course po, lagi naman po akong may nararamdaman na strong na emotion pero hindi naman po kailangan ipakita palagi ‘yon.

[Of course I always feel strong emotions but you don't always have to show it.]

Parang kailangan alam mo rin kung paano po magtimpi. Pero kailangan din pong mag-react at magsalita syempre kung hindi na OK ‘yun sa sarili mo or naaapakan na ‘yung pagkatao mo. Lahat naman po ng kasamahan ko dito na housemates ay naging mabuti rin po sa akin, kaya wala naman po akong napakitang gano’n.

[I think you have to learn how to keep calm but you also have to learn how to react and speak your mind when things aren't OK with you or when you feel like your boundaries are being crossed. All my housemates have been good to me and that's why I didn't need to react too much while inside the house.]

Q: Pinili mo si Lella and Miguel as housemates na kulang pa sa pagpapakatotoo kasi hindi mo sila gaanong kilala at mas nag-o-open sila sa ibang housemates. Bakit mo pa hinintay na sabihin ‘yan ‘pag time na mag-nominate?

Gusto ko lang naman po sabihin kung ano po talaga yung nafi-feel ko dahil gusto ko rin pong makatulong sa kanila. So hindi ko naman po inintay talaga 'yung pagkakataon na 'yun para lang sabihin sa kanila 'yun. Nagkataon lang po na 'yun po talaga 'yung nararamdaman ko and gusto ko pong sabihin sa kanila.

[I also just wanted to say what I felt because I also wanted to help them. So it's not like I waited for that occasion to tell them that. It just so happened that's what I felt and that's what I wanted to tell them.]

Q: Isa sa mga lagi mong hinihingian ng advice syempre ang daddy mo and I know that he gave you the advice na piliin ng pagkakaibigan over tasks. What do you think of that advice?

Mas naging happy po ako dahil mas narinig ko po ‘yung honest na opinion ni daddy. So simula no’n, nag-change po talaga ako at nag-self-reflect po talaga ako. Medyo pinagsisisihan ko po ‘yan, kaya ngayon po bumabawi po talaga ako sa mga taong napili ko. Alam ko po na medyo nalungkot rin po silang marinig ‘yon.

[I was happy when I heard my dad's honest opinion. Since then I've tried to change and I've self-reflected some more. I regret what I said and that's why I'm trying to make up to them. I know they weren't happy when they heard what I said.]

Question from Lee Victor: Sino sa Ultimate 8 ang gusto mong tanggalin at palitan? At ang ipapalit mo ay mangagaling sa mga ex-housemates.

Kung makakapili ako ng ibang housemate, pipiliin ko ay si Carmelle [Collado] ang pumalit kay Joaquin [Arce] dahil hindi nga siya nagiging tapat sa mga tasks.

[If I can choose a different housemate, I will choose Carmelle Collado to replace Joaquin Arce because he didn't turn out to be sincere with the tasks.]

Question from Rave Victoria: Kung kaharap mo si Heath [Jornales] ngayon, anong sasabihin mo sa kaniya sa pagsi-ship namin sa inyo? Ano ‘yung nararamdaman mo talaga?

‘Yung pagsi-ship niyo naman, syempre naasar din talaga ako minsan tsaka natatawa talaga ako. Tsaka sasabihin ko naman sa inyo ‘pag hindi na komportable.

[When you 'ship me with people, sometimes I get annoyed and sometimes I find it funny. You can expect me to tell you when I'm no longer comfortable.]

Caprice is one of the remaining housemates dubbed the Ultimate 8 alongside Heath Jornales, Princess Aliyah, Ashley Sarmiento, Lella Ford, Krystal Mejes, Miguel Vergara, and Joaquin Arce.
