Kylie Padilla clarifies viral 'aalis na 'ko ng Pilipinas' comment
Kylie Padilla made the rounds on social media Tuesday night when she said "aalis na ko ng Pilipinas" when asked for her thoughts on the possibility of her father, Senator Robin Padilla, running for higher office.
On Facebook early Wednesday, Kylie said she made the remark "out of my desire to live a calm, peaceful, and quiet life."
"Please do not take my statement and use it against my father," the Sparkle actress added. "I admire all the good he is doing for our country."
"'Di ko sinabi 'yun to insult him or anyone else. I love him and only wish for him to be happy and safe always," Kylie said.
Kylie is Robin’s daughter with former partner Liezl Sicangco.
She stars in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre," reprising her role as Amihan.
It airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8:05 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube.
