Winona Ryder joins cast of 'Wednesday' Season 3
An icon is joining the cast of “Wednesday,” and she is none other than Winona Ryder!
Netflix confirmed the news in a post on X (formerly Twitter) and in the official cast announcement video.
Winona will be playing a character named Tabitha. More has yet to be revealed about the role.
Winona's addition to the series marks her reunion with “Wednesday” lead star Jenna Ortega, with whom she previously starred in the "Beetlejuice" sequel film, “Beetlejuice Beettlejuice.”
According to an article on Netflix's blog, Tudum, "Wednesday" Season 3 will see Wednesday Addams’ new misadventures push her further than ever before.
Co-creator and showrunner Alfred Gough said their goal for Season 3 is the same as it is for every season: "To make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can."
“We want to continue digging deeper into our characters while expanding the world of Nevermore and Wednesday. We will be seeing more Addams Family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3!" he added.
It was also previously announced that Eva Green will be joining Season 3 as Aunt Ophelia Frump.
“Wednesday” follows the title character’s adventures and misadventures at Nevermore Academy.
