‘PBB Celebrity Collab 2.0’: Krystal Mejes responds to ‘pinakamahina’ label in tasks

Krystal Mejes maintained her composure as she answered a series of pointed questions about her journey and worthiness inside Kuya’s house.

On Tuesday’s episode of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” Krystal took on the Ultimate Tapatan as she faced questions from the ex-housemates, deciding whether their answers were “Truth” or “Lie.”

Below is the Q&A edited for length and clarity.

Q: Paano mo napanindigan ang iyong mantra (tiwala) sa loob ng bahay? Ano ang specific na pangyayari sa loob na naipakita mo ang iyong paninindigang mantra?

Before the Big Jump challenge, honestly, I was really doubting myself. Ako po, I'm competitive. When I went inside Kuya’s house, I saw that everybody's really competent, so when I was doing the Big Jump challenge, sabi ko kailangan ko pong panindigan ‘yung salitang kinuha ko para ngayong taong ‘to (I told myself I need to stand by the word I chose so that this year) is to really trust myself, to trust God and His plans, and to trust people that really believed in me.

Kasi po I've been nominated three times and I got saved three times, so ‘yun na lang po ‘yung pinanghahawakan ko, magtiwala sa mga taong nagtitiwala po sa akin (so that's what I'm holding on to, to trust the people who trust me).

Q: Bakit sa tingin mo deserve mo maging Big Winner when no one, not even your close friends, picked you na deserving sa Big Ticket for Big Jump?

I don't think I deserve to be a Big Winner. I kept telling everybody about this, even Kuya. Gusto kong pumasok sa bahay mo para mas makilala ang sarili ko (I wanted to enter your house so I could discover myself more). I want to prove to myself that I'm capable of being so much more. Nilaban ko lang naman hanggang dulo (I only fought until the end) because the people outside fought for me.

Q: So do you want to be the Big Winner?

No. But of course if ‘yun po ‘yung tingin sa ‘kin ng mga tao, then tatanggapin ko po ‘yun nang lubusan (if that's how people see me, then I would accept it completely).

Question from Waynona Collings: Sino sa part ng Ultimate 8 ang hindi deserving sa spot? Kung papalitan mo siya, sino sa ex-housemates ang ipapalit mo?

Wala (Nobody). Everybody has really come to a point where we're all deserving of the Ultimate 8.

Q: Would you say ba na mas deserving ni Joaquin [Arce] ‘yon kesa sa close friend mo na si Carmelle [Collado]?

Even Carmelle, she didn't want to be part of the Ultimate 8 anymore. And though there's a part of me that wants to keep fighting, of course I have to pay respect to what she wants…I know her. I know that she didn't want to be part of the Ultimate 8 anymore, but she still kept fighting and she fought hard, not just for herself, for her family, but for me as well.

Question from Sofia Pablo: How do you feel that you are labeled as one of the 'pinakamahina' sa tasks? Kung ikaw ang pinakamahina sa task, bakit ka deserving maging Ultimate 8?

Basehan lang ba ang task to be a Big Winner? (Is the task alone the basis to be a Big Winner?) I don't think so. I think your story comes with it, your personality comes with it, so no. Like what I said earlier, I really don't think I'm deserving to be a Big Winner, but maybe that's just what I see because I see myself the way I see myself, not the way my supporters see me. So that depends really on them if they see me worthy of being a Big Winner or not. But that's my answer to their question.

Question from Carmelle: Mahina ka sa physical tasks. Sa tingin po enough ba ‘yung pa-words of wisdom mo para maging part ng Ultimate 8?

My words of wisdom? I don't even know if I speak words of wisdom just because I speak from my heart. As long as I do my best every day and I speak God's will, that's my truth.
