Heath Jornales shares story behind original song 'Coffee Shop'

Heath Jornales once again wowed audiences with his musical talent!

On Tuesday’s episode of “Unang Hirit,” the Kapuso 2nd Big Placer delighted fans with a short live performance of his original song, “Coffee Shop.”

Heath said he wrote the song back in 2023, when he was just 13 years old.

“I was playing video games with a friend while I was writing it, and then boom, he told me to keep going, and then ‘yun, natapos ko,” he said.

When asked whether a certain person inspired the song, Heath said, “Past is past.”

Now that he’s back in the outside world and in show business, the Sparkle artist said that apart from acting, he also plans to release his original songs as part of an album.

Earlier, Heath received his dream electric guitar from his fan base, Heath Wavers.

In one of the episodes of "PBB Collab 2.0," Heath wowed with his songwriting skills in a mini concert and performed five of his original songs: "Coffee Shop," "Ikaw Pa Rin Hanggang Ngayon," "Summer Nights," "Promised Land," and "Back to You."

Heath emerged as the Kapuso 2nd Big Placer alongside Kapamilya star Krystal Mejes during the season's Big Night on February 28.

"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" started airing in October 2025.

Throughout the season, viewers followed all the formed groups that braved the weekly challenges and faced the tough tasks inside the house.

The season featured appearances from notable celebrity guests, including Vice Ganda, Gladys Reyes, Miguel Tanfelix, Bianca Gonzalez, Ruru Madrid, and more.
