'Huwag Kang Titingin' cast members express excitement for horror film's premiere on April 15
The cast members of "Huwag Kang Titingin" are nothing short of excited for their horror film, which is set to premiere on April 15.
In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Thursday, Shuvee Etrata said that the film's bound to give everyone's summer a dose of thrill and fear.
"Para naman mas uminit pa 'yung summer ng mga Kapuso natin, nilagyan namin ng konting takot para mas mag-enjoy kayo sa summer niyo," she said.
Charlie shared the same sentiments, adding, "It's pure darkness when it comes to this movie."
"Huwag Kang Titingin" also marks Anthony's first -ever movie, and it's an experience that's one for the books.
"Definitely recommend praying before you watch the movie," Anthony quipped.
Michael, for his part, revealed how scared Anthony was during the shoot of one of the film's scenes.
"Si Anthony talagang takot na takot, may eksena kami nun na napaka-importante pero si Anthony, nanginginig siya," Michael said.
"Actually, if you really saw the set, you guys would completely understand," added Anthony.
More than just horror, however, the film also carries an important message for the youth.
"The movie kasi, ito 'yung mga Gen Zs na content creators. Hanggang saan ang kaya nilang gawin para sumikat? So maraming mga kabataanna makaka-relate," said Shuvee.
"Huwag Kang Titingin" is top-billed by Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay.
It also stars Marco Masa, Sean Lucas, Josh Ford, and Kira Balinger.
The film is directed by Frasco Mortiz and co-produced by GMA Pictures and Mentorque Productions Inc. It offers a fresh take on Filipino horror, blending a chilling Gen Z-inspired narrative with the eerie pull of local folklore and viral internet challenges.
