Anne Curtis, Erwan Heussaff, daughter Dahlia back in PH
Anne Curtis, Erwan Heussaff, and their daughter Dahlia are safely back in the Philippines.
On Instagram Stories, Erwan shared an update, posting a video of three different views from the plane window. First was the brown of the dessert, then the calm of blue, and finally of what appears to be Manila at night time.
“Last few days felt like weeks. Back in Manila,” Erwan wrote.
His update comes four days after Anne's mom, Carmen, said that the "It's Showtime" host has reunited with Erwan and Dahlia in Oman, after getting her flight to Dubai rerouted amid the conflict in the Middle East.
Anne was flying from Milan, where she attended Fashion Week, when tensions in the Middle East escalated over the weekend following airstrikes launched by the United States and Israel against Iran.
Earlier, the Department of Foreign Affairs reported that about 2.5 million Filipinos are in the Middle East, mostly in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, with around 800 in Iran.
All this as Anne had been a subject of controversy following QC Representative Bong Suntay's lewd remarks about her. The lawmaker has since been slapped with a number of complaints, as Anne's mom, sister Jasmine, and several celebrities defended her.
While Suntay has already apologized, he "stood" by his analogy. His wife, Shiela Guevarra Suntay, has issued a public apology toward Anne.
