Rhian Ramos confirms separation from Sam Verzosa, says Wil Dasovich has nothing to do with breakup

Rhian Ramos has confirmed her separation from Sam Verzosa.

On Friday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Kapuso actress said she can talk about the breakup now since Sam has earlier confirmed it in an interview. 

"Yes we've broken up already. We're not in a romantic relationship anymore and I think it's only now that I feel comfortable saying that because he's confirmed it already also in an interview and I read about it na," she shared.

According to Rhian, she and Sam broke up in October 2025. 

"We broke up in October of last year. I mean, of course, it's a relationship between two people, so it is quite private, but I just want everyone to know that we're in a peaceful place now," she said, noting that they are both focusing on themselves and trying to be their best versions. 

When asked if they talk to each other, Rhian noted that it is normal and healthy for couples to have a "no contact" period after separation.

"You need that so that you're not confused and you have time to heal and move on. But we are able to talk to each other, or text each other if there's something that we need to talk about," she told Tito Boy. 

"Sometimes kasi you need to move far away from it so that you can see the big picture and kind of let that heal you," she added. 

Tito Boy also directly asked Rhian about Wil Dasovich, a name that has surfaced amid Rhian and Sam's breakup. 

"Sino siya sa relasyon ninyo ni Sam?" asked Tito Boy. 

"This is one of the most crazy and embarrassing parts of everything that I've been reading about myself lately because it's so unconnected and I don't know why anyone would bring him into an issue like this," Rhian said, emphasizing that Wil is just a friend. 

"But Wil is my friend. He's one of my guy friends, and he has been for a long time, and it's so embarrassing that he would suddenly come up and people will say na — I mean, I don't know what purpose, like what's that for, to slut shame me or to make me look like a cheater? Anyway, we're just friends," she said. 

Tito Boy replied, "And that's a simple answer. No. He has nothing to do with your separation from Sam." 

"Yes, not at all. And sorry to Wil and his family that someone brought you into this," she said. 

Rhian and Sam confirmed their relationship at the GMA Gala 2022. Last August, they celebrated their fourth anniversary. 

In December 2025, eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
