Gabbi Garcia believes in using her platform to empower other women

Gabbi Garcia believes in the importance of using her online platform to create positive impact and empower other women.

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" Friday, the Sparkle star recently spoke at a symposium where she shared her insights about women's empowerment. 

For Gabbi, it is vital for young girls to see women advocating for them. She also recognized the responsibility that comes with having a big platform. 

"Importante 'yun nowadays for young girls to see also women speaking up for them. Ako kasi I'm blessed with this huge platform and I always say na for me,every post is important. It's a choice kasi eh, it's either you contribute to the noise or you contribute to changing lives of other people," she said. 

"And syempre dun tayo sa giving impact to young girls, so that's how I empower women also through social media," she added. 

Gabbi recently finished her stint as one of the hosts of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0." 

The actress plans to go on a trip now that the show has concluded, sharing that she goes on vacation whenever she finishes a project to balance herself.
