Kris Aquino attends birthday lunch at Bahay Pangulo

Kris Aquino attended a belated birthday lunch for her at Bahay Pangulo, the official residence of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

According to a report on "24 Oras Weekend," it was organized by fashion designer Michael Leyva, a friend of Kris and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos. The First Lady prepared a homecooked lunch for the birthday celebration.

It is the first time in 31 years that Kris and President Marcos got together after working on a TV show together.

Araneta-Marcos, meanwhile, is related to Kris because her aunt is the wife of Kris' uncle.

Kris turned 55 in February, and said she is grateful to turn a year older.

Kris is currently battling nine autoimmune diseases. Despite this, she is looking forward to launching a video podcast. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA Integrated News
