Earlier, the Miss Universe Philippines organization announced a new fan voting system for its 2026 competition, allowing the public to cast daily votes for their favorite candidates.

In 2025, Ahtisa Manalo took home the national crown representing Quezon Province. She finished her Miss Universe 2025 journey as the third runner-up of the pageant riddled with a lot of controversies.
