“Huwag Kang Titingin” top-billed by Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay just released its teaser poster!

The poster, released by GMA Pictures on Tuesday, featured an eerie eye covered with dark red veins that took the shape of human faces.

“Isang sinaunang ritwal at isang viral challenge. Hanggang saan sila dadalhin ng kanilang tapat at takot?” the caption read.

In Athena Imperial’s report on “24 Oras” on Wednesday, Sofia and fellow cast member Marco Masa, who finished filming the movie before entering “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” could not help but express pride over the project.

“May hinahabol kaming deadlines so sabi namin ibibigay namin ‘yung best. Para din paglabas namin ‘yung project na babalikan namin, talagang nakaka-proud siya na ipakita sa mundo,” Sofia said.

“Iba ‘yung klase ng build-up, iba ‘yung mayroong tinatago ‘yung character ko na natatakot siyang harapin but eventually kakailangan niya itong harapin. So iba klaseng character arc siya,” Marco added.

Meanwhile, Allen Ansay and Anthony Constantino never imagined that their first-ever movie would be a horror film.

“Mayroon kaming eksena na sa sementeryo kinunan. Isipin mo 'yung hating-gabi tapos kinukunan niyo sa sementeryo,” Allen shared.

“It's a horror film, so I really rely on the co-actors to help me get into my character. In addition to that, the setting made it really very easy to get into it,” Anthony said.

As for Michael Sager, “Huwag Kang Titingin” is his first horror project.

“Ang dami palang energy na kailangan. 'Pag sisigaw ka, 'pag natatakot ka, mabigat, mabigat siya,” Michael said.

Sean Lucas, who plays the role of AJ, also shared that his character will be relatable to content creators.

“‘Yung character ni AJ tackles something that’s really relevant right now, 'yung mga people like what they’re willing to do for fame.”

Huwag Kang Titingin” also stars Shuvee Etrata, Josh Ford, and Kira Balinger.

The film is directed by Frasco Mortiz and co-produced by GMA Pictures and Mentorque Productions Inc. It offers a fresh take on Filipino horror, blending a chilling Gen Z-inspired narrative with the eerie pull of local folklore and viral internet challenges.

It is set to premiere in cinemas on April 15.
