Eman Bacosa Pacquiao to balance boxing and acting careers
Aside from being a rising boxing athlete, Eman Bacosa Pacquiao is also embracing his newly minted title: actor.
On Wednesday’s episode of “Unang Hirit,” Eman said that he’s not giving up boxing just because he’s starting his showbiz journey.
Talking about his acting debut in “Never Say Die,” the Sparkle artist said he’s still in the early stages of adjusting to it.
“Nakakakaba at saka napaka-exciting kasi ‘yun ‘yung first acting project ko,” Eman said.
He also said that his fellow actors in the series, Jillian Ward, David Licauco, Raheel Bhyria, and Kim Ji Soo, are all helping him settle into his role.
“They are very warm,” he said. “Sila Jillian, inalalayan po nila ako.”
“Medyo kinakabahan pero maayos naman [‘yung experience],” he added.
Eman has begun shooting for “Never Say Die,” where he received a warm welcome on set. He said he was approached by Jillian, who gave him a garland, while Raheel gave flowers to Eman’s mother.
He signed with Sparkle GMA Artist Center in November 2025.
