BINI reacts to SB19 being part of Lollapalooza 2026 : 'A win for OPM'

BINI is among those celebrating and cheering on SB19’s historic achievement as the first Filipino act to join the lineup of Lollapalooza.

On X (formerly Twitter), BINI reposted SB19’s announcement where they shared the exciting news.

“A win for [SB19], a win for OPM! Huge congrats on your Lollapalooza journey!” the Nation's Girl Group wrote. “From PH to the world… mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino!”

SB19 responded to the shoutout with gratitude.

“Maraming salamat,” the P-pop Kings said. “All the best din sa Coachella nyo this April! Mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino, lagi lagi!”

SB19 will make history as the first Filipino act to perform at Lollapalooza, one of the world’s biggest music festivals.

It is set for July 30 to August 2 at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois.

The four-day festival will be headlined by Charli XCX, Olivia Dean, Tate McRae, Blackpink’s Jennie, Lorde, The Smashing Pumpkins, John Summit, and The xx, marking the band’s comeback after almost eight years of hiatus.

Held in Chicago since 1991, Lollapalooza is an annual music festival with performances across eight stages over four days. —Carby Rose Basina/CDC, GMA Integrated News
