Is Anton Vinzon open to working with Carmelle Collado? Sparkle star answers

During Anton Vinzon's time in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0," he developed a close friendship with some female housemates, including Carmelle Collado. 

With their bond, fans couldn't help but ship them, forming the fan ship CarTon in the early days of the season.

In a report by Nelson Canlas on "24 Oras" on Wednesday, the former PBB housemate said he is open to working with Carmelle, as well as fellow female housemates Krystal Mejes and Lella Ford, who fans have also shipped with him.

"Ngayon may CarTon, KrysTon, LelTon, I hope... sana maka-work ko po sila soon sa GMA," Anton said.

Talking about his fan ship with Carmelle, the Sparkle star said that he was shocked as well as grateful for the fans who are supporting him and Carmelle. 

"I was shocked that time na paglabas ko ng bahay na may CarTon pala pero very grateful din na maraming nagmamahal sa amin ni Carmelle," Anton said.

He also wished for Carmelle's success in her musical career and hopes to be invited to her concert in the future.

"I'm very proud of her sa nangyari sa buhay niya, sa success ng music career niya at sana maimbita ako sa concert niya in the future."

CarTon tugged the heartstrings of netizens in the early days of "PBB Collab 2" when Anton acted as Carmelle's human shield when the latter was surprised by the sudden appearance of a terrifying clown during Kuya's Halloween task.

In a January interview with GMA News Online, Anton said he formed a good friendship with Carmelle because he can connect with her.

"It's good. It's good naman po 'yung friendship namin ni Carmelle. Grabe po 'yung bond namin talaga," Anton said.

He said he resonates with Carmelle because, like him and his sister, Lala Vinzon, she is also a singer.

Meanwhile, Anton is set to topbill the upcoming Kapuso series "Kamao," where he will star with his own father, Roi Vinzon. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
