‘Heneral Luna,’ ‘Goyo,’ ‘Quezon’ to return to cinemas for a limited time

The Bayaniverse films are getting limited-time reruns in cinemas.

On Instagram, TBA Studios announced that “Heneral Luna,” “Goyo,” and “Quezon” will return to select cinemas nationwide from March 25 to 31.

The following cinemas offer tickets at P150 per screening:

• SM North EDSA
• SM Fairview
• SM MOA
• TriNoma
• Market! Market!
• Fairview Terraces

The following cinemas will also be participating, but ticket prices have yet to be announced:

• Robinsons Antipolo
• Robinsons Manila
• Robinsons Galleria
• Robinsons General Trias
• Robinsons Galleria South
• Robinsons Naga
• Robinsons Jaro
• Robinsons Tuguegarao
• Robinsons Valencia
• Shopbox Virac (Catanduanes)

"Heneral Luna" (2015) stars John Arcilla in the titular role and follows the life of General Antonio Luna during the Philippine-American War. 

Meanwhile, "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral" (2018) follows the ladies' man Gregorio "Goyo" del Pilar, played by Paulo Avelino, as he becomes one of the Philippines' youngest generals. 

The final film of the trilogy, "Quezon" (2025), chronicles the life of Filipino lawyer and soldier Manuel L. Quezon, portrayed by Jericho Rosales, who became the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944. —Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA Integrated News
