'Secrets of Hotel 88' stars wrap up lock-in taping in Puerto Galera

The cast members of "The Secrets of Hotel 88" have wrapped up their lock-in taping in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro. 

Starring "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0" housemates Brent Manalo, Ralph De Leon, Will Ashley, Mika Salamanca, Dustin Yu, Xyriel Manabat, Kira Balinger, River Joseph, Josh Ford, Bianca De Vera, AZ Martinez, Klarisse de Guzman, and Esnyr, "Secrets of Hotel 88" is a family-mystery drama that explores themes of love and friendship.

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Friday, the stars turned sentimental as they held on to the beautiful memories they created together on and off-camera. 

AZ Martinez, who plays Sari in the series, shared that she will miss the behind-the-scenes moments she had with her co-stars. 

"Andami-daming memories na nabuo dito, like late nights magkasama kami, pumupunta kami sa kwarto ng isa't isa tapos kumakain very late, 'yung mga ganun na trippings," she said. 

Esnyr and Kira Balinger, who play Raphie and Trixie, also got sentimental. 

"After nito, di natin alam kung may project pa ba kaming lahat na kumpleto," shared Esnyr.

"Pagbalik ng Manila we're all gonna have our own separate schedules tsaka kelan ba kami magsasama-sama ng ganito ulit? So parang it's bittersweet," Kira also said. 

For Josh Ford, who portrays Justin, the experience and his character have taught him an important lesson about family. 

"Never give up on your family talaga. I think 'yun talaga 'yung number one, pamilya, and that's something I would take from him as well," he said. 

Meanwhile, Xyriel Manabat (Chesca) shared that she discovered so much about Puerto Galera during their taping in the idyllic town. 

"Ang saya na bukod sa sikreto ng Hotel 88 na unlock din natin 'yung sikreto ng Puerto Galera, 'yung mga hidden gem na talagang sana puntahan at tangkilikin nila," she said. 

Mika Salamanca (Luna), for her part, shared the most memorable moment for her throughout taping. 

"Kung paano kami natuto sa set, 'yun talaga 'yung pinaka-memorable para sa 'kin," she said. "Ang kailangan nilang abangan sa dulo is, ano ba talaga 'yung totoong treasure?"

"The Secrets of Hotel 88" airs from Mondays to Fridays at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Prime.
