Dolly De Leon, Jo Koy join voice cast of 'Forgotten Island'

More Filipino artists are set to join the cast of "Forgotten Island."

On Instagram, Dolly de Leon shared that she is set to join the voice cast of the upcoming Philippine mythology-inspired animated film, alongside fellow Filipinos Jo Koy and Amielynn Abellera, as well as Malaysian-American Ronny Chieng.

"Over the moon with excitement and Pinoy pride to share 'Forgotten Island' with the world!" Dolly wrote. "Nakakaproud maging Pinoy."

Earlier, it was announced that Lea Salonga, Liza Soberano, H.E.R., and Manny Jacinto are also part of the cast.

Directed by Januel Mercado, "Forgotten Island" is a "comedy adventure that will transport the film's protagonist to a long forgotten, magical island rooted in Philippine mythology."

The film is set for theatrical release on September 25.

DreamWorks is the American film studio behind the hit animated franchises "How to Train Your Dragon," "Shrek," and "Kung Fu Panda," among others.
