Robb Guinto, Yasser Marta share how their love story began

Robb Guinto and Yasser Marta looked back on the simple beginnings of their relationship.

On Thursday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the couple shared that they first met while working together on a film.

“May ginawa po kaming movie. ‘Yun po ‘yung first time namin na nag-meet. ‘Desperada.’ ‘Yung unang beses, Tito Boy, sa story con nung movie,” Yasser said.

The actor admitted that during their first meeting, he kept his distance as he was unsure how to approach Robb.

“Tinitignan ko lang siya kasi syempre first time namin mag-meet. Hindi ko pa alam kung paano siya i-approach. Tapos parang dinededma niya lang ako eh,” he said.

Robb, however, clarified that she was simply being careful and did not want to come off too forward.

“Kumbaga kasi nung una, ‘pag once na unang kilala mo naman sa tao, ayaw mo naman magpaka-feeling close eh. Kumbaga parang pinapakiramdaman ko rin siya,” the actress said.

Things began to change when they spent more time together during a workshop for the film.

“Nung workshop, sabi ko, ‘Alam mo, ang cute-cute mo.’ Doon na na-break ‘yung ice,” Yasser said.

Their connection eventually deepened, leading to a turning point in their relationship during a trip to Bali.

Robb revealed that instead of going through a traditional courtship, Yasser went straight to the point.

“Actually, hindi niya sinabing pwede bang manligaw eh. ‘Pwede ba kitang maging girlfriend?’ Nag-yes po ako,” she said.

Yasser previously starred in the Kapuso shows "Black Rider," "Tadhana: Sister's Keeper," "Lovers & Liars," and more, while Robb appeared in “Mga Batang Riles.”
