Josh Ford holds post-birthday celebration at elderly home with Kira Balinger

Josh Ford held a post-birthday celebration at an elderly home in San Juan with fellow "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0" housemate, Kira Balinger. 

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Thursday, Josh, Kish, and their Team Kish fan club organized the visit to the elderly home themselves. The event was also a celebration of Team Kish's anniversary. 

"This birthday's special to me kasi ito 'yung first time ko na nag-spend ng birthday to give back to people kasi sila talaga 'yung tumulong sa 'kin para makarating ako kung saan ako ngayon," shared Josh. 

The elderly home was nostalgic for the Sparkle star, as he used to work as a caregiver when he was still living in the United Kingdom. 

"Sobra akong natuwa, brought me back to my memories nung nandun ako sa U.K.," he said. 

"Napakasarap naman talaga sa puso that we're doing this for other people naman, we're giving back," Kira also said. 

Josh likewise expressed his gratitude to the elderly residents for supporting their show, "The Secrets of Hotel 88." 

"Napanood daw po nila kami sa GMA, sa 'The Secrets of Hotel 88,' kaya nga nakakatuwa na pati sila sumusuporta sa 'min dalawa," he added. 

Per Carampel's report, Josh celebrated his actual birthday on March 12 in Puerto Galera during their locked-in taping, where Kira surprised him with a sweet little gift. 

Aside from "The Secrets of Hotel 88," Josh and Kira are also starring in the upcoming horror film, "Huwag Kang Titingin." 

The film is top-billed by Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay, and includes other stars like Marco Masa, Michael Sager, Sean Lucas, Anthony Constantino, Shuvee Etrata, and Charlie Fleming. 

Directed by Frasco Mortiz and co-produced by GMA Pictures and Mentorque Productions Inc., it offers a fresh take on Filipino horror, blending a chilling Gen Z-inspired narrative with the eerie pull of local folklore and viral internet challenges.

"Huwag Kang Titingin" is set to premiere in cinemas on April 15.

Meanwhile, "The Secrets of Hotel 88" airs Mondays to Fridays at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Prime.
