Heart Evangelista, Angelica Panganiban discuss past 'misunderstanding'

Heart Evangelista and Angelica Panganiban looked back at their friendship on the latest episode of "Heart World" Season 2.

The Global Fashion Icon asked her longtime best friend, "Bakit daw tayo nagkaroon ng misunderstanding?"

"I think sa mga choices talaga natin sa buhay, tapos parang 'yun 'yung ginusto nating panindigan eh," Angelica answered.

Heart added that they were both defensive at that time until they no longer spoke to each other.

"Siguro ganun 'pag mong mahal 'yung tao masyado, magiging protective ka, tapos 'pag 'di ginawa 'yung advice mo, maiinis ka eh," Angelica said.

Angelica said that they were apart for too long and they matured and grew apart.

"Which was sad kasi for me, talagang nag-iisa ka lang," Heart said.

Angelica also said she missed Heart and saw her successes from afar.

"Ang sarap mong i-celebrate pero parang nasa sideline ka lang, clapping your hands," Angelica said.

"Whatever it is, whatever it was, you will always be my pal," Heart told Angelica. "As in there's nothing wrong or nothing that you can do, kasi ganun kita kamahal. Masyadong solid 'yung core memories ko sa 'yo."

"First love mo rin can be a sister or a friend, first love kita," Heart added.

Heart also said she visited the wake of Angelica's mother.

Angelica then asked Heart what made her want to reach out again. Heart said it was the perfect time because they are now both mature.

Angelica also said that despite what happened, she has nothing bad to say about Heart and wants to hear more of her success stories.

Heart and Angelica have been friends since they were teens.
