Klea Pineda calls Janella Salvador 'aking Janjan' in birthday message

Klea Pineda called Janella Salvador "aking Janjan" as the actress celebrates her birthday.

In an Instagram Reel, the Sparkle star shared videos of them enjoying a fine dining meal as well as their cute moments together. Klea then narrated her sweet poem-like message for Janella.

"Masuwerte ang mga taong minamahal mo, at isa na 'ko sa kanila," Klea said in her voiceover.

"Suwerte ako dahil nakilala kita, dahil ako ang nakakakita sa mga bahaging mas totoo, na hindi madalas nasisilayan ng iba," she added.

Klea also said that Janella's smile makes her feel that the world stops, and they are the two left.

"Ikaw ang tahimik kong tula at paborito kong himig sa mundong ito," Klea said.

Janella reposted the Reel on her Instagram Stories. She also marked her birthday with a nature-themed photoshoot.

Janella and Klea have been spending time together since working on the 2025 queer film "Open Endings," which won the Best Ensemble Performance at Cinemalaya last year. They co-starred with Jasmine Curtis-Smith and OPM singer Leanne Mamonong.

Since the film's release, Klea and Janella have been romantically linked.

"Kung ano 'yung nakikita n'yo online or kahit saan, 'yun na 'yun, basta masaya kami together," Klea previously told GMA Integrated News.

In February, they traveled to Japan together, as Klea also brought Janella to her mom's birthday celebration.

Last December, they flew to the US together. A month prior, Klea took Janella and her son Jude on a plane ride.

Klea came out as lesbian in 2023.
